Peace at Work is a user-friendly and effective tool that helps me to de-stress at any time of the day. Using the Peace at Work technique helps me to regain perspective and balance in my very busy life. I feel nourished, peaceful and re-connected. At first I struggled with the discipline of meditating every day, however the immediate benefits were so great the my precious Peace at Work moments are now a vital part of my life and can't imagine a day without them. Thank you for this amazing gift.
Nick Drayton,

...a director of DCH introduced a regular meditation session, open to all members of staff prior to the commencement of the work day, twice per week. These sessions regularly attract in the order of 30% of all staff, from director and senior management personnel through to engineers and office juniors.
The fact that this practice has continued for the past 2 years is testimony to the benefits felt by participants.
The company directors recognize numerous positive changes in those people who attend these sessions on a regular basis, including an ability to concentrate more clearly, for longer periods of time, reduced stress levels, less sick leave and improved efficiency.

Peace at Work has not only taught me how to clear my mind and stay focused in high stress situations, it has also helped me achieve an amazing level of relaxation in my down time.
This technique works by helping you to effectively identify and release tension - no matter how long you have been carrying it around with you.
I would not hesitate to recommend giving Peace at Work a try, for those who want to clear their minds and find some peace.

One of the main intentions in taking up Peace at Work has been to reduce my anxiety, especially when work gets hectic. And I am achieving this! As well as doing my regular morning practice, any time I feel a little overwhelmed I'll pop'the CD on and meditate for 5-10 minutes. It helps still my thoughts and gets me centered. Afterwards, I find I'm better able to prioritise my work and undertake it with a clear mind.
Another major benefit of this practice is that I'm so much more focused now. I think the simple act of just sitting and observing, irrespective of what thoughts, impulses or feelings emerge, has taught me to stay committed to and engaged with whatever it is I'm doing. From dancing, to interacting socially, to working - the benefits of being focused and in touch with myself are improving all areas of my life.
What I also love about Peace at Work is that it gives me the space to feel whatever it is that I'm feeling; to really connect with what's going on inside. I find this so, so valuable as it means I can acknowledge and release thoughts/feelings, rather than having them consume precious energy in my life. They arise, then disappear, and that's OK.
I'm really glad I've taken this up and hope that you succeed in introducing the benefits of the practice to many, many people.

Peace at Work has a program that I have been able to implement into my daily regime. The easy CD program can be followed and implemented in the privacy of your home. Before I tried Peace at Work, I was unable to successfully meditate and for years was frustrated by this.
By following the Peace at Work integration course, I found that I have become a more relaxed, happier, positive and productive person. I feel that many aspects of my life appear to be coming together; less volatile swings, more business, more assuredness, better relationships and more belief in my capabilities. The coincidences that are beginning to occur in my life are quite extraordinary.
I recommend you buy the program and give it a dedicated shot. If you do so, you will reap similarly positive results.

Peace at Work has helped me gain the courage to make decisions that has bought about positive changes in my life. I suppose you could say that practicing Peace at Work opened up my life and got me out of a rut. It has helped me to cope with stressful situations better at work and in my personal life. Things seem more balanced and everything has gained a more realistic perspective. My outlook on life has become far more positive and calmer to the point where friends are commenting on how different I am - in a good way. Peace at Work encourages you to look within and as a result throws up (in a concentrated way) what is important to you, when often this gets diluted with the distractions of everyday life. After a while you can see clearly, act on it and make things happen.

As a perfectionist, relaxing is a real challenge for me and I had tried various types of yoga and meditation before without much success. Just giving myself permission to sit still for 15-minutes each day and clear my mind has had a calming influence which has helped me to manage my stress levels downwards. The simplicity of the Peace at Work technique is what I like about it the most. I generally use it at home, but I have also found that if I need to "chill" outside of the home, then I can prop up my cosmetic mirror and take a 5-minute break to regenerate.

I was in no way reluctant to try The Peace at Work technique as I was searching to find something to reduce stress in a more permanent way. Immediately after my first session, I felt lighter and after nearly two years Peace at Work has helped:
improve my clarity in decision making - in business and life based
reduction in "cloudy brain" work periods where I was unable to concentrate, work effectively or make clear decisions
generally calmer and more relaxed
overall improvement in health and wellbeing
less strain in the face
improved sleep
I would not hesitate recommending Peace at Work to anyone who wishes to try something that is simple and works.

Peace at Work came into my life at the perfect time. I learnt how the Peace at Work technique using the integration course guidelines and had begun releasing tension that had been there for years.'After only two months of a daily routine, I was faced with a major shock with regards to my business. I truly believe that my inner calm helped me get through one of the most traumatic and challenging periods in my life. I now use Peace at Work as a preventative measure - I am releasing tension on a regular basis and stopping any build-up along the way!

Before I bought the Peace at Work integration course my perception was that someone else was going to make me well. I spent a lot of my time and money running around looking for health and wellbeing. I was experiencing anxiety and panic attacks and this exacerbated this even more. I did not believe at first that Peace at Work was going to relieve the anxiety - I thought I would have to take something. But within a short period of time, probably after working through the integration course, the anxiety was gone. I wasn't taking anything and I did it by myself with the support of the Peace at Work team. Practicing almost every day in my life empowers me and I feel healthier and stronger every day. I think it's important not to stop because you feel well but make Peace at Work part of the rhythm of your day. I feel the most grounded I have ever felt in my life and its within me, not from anyone else.

I saw a promotion for Peace at Work in the Better Homes and Gardens magazine. It was a lady dressed in all white clothes sitting cross-legged on the floor meditating. Then I read the small print beside it. Then I looked you up on the website. I looked through the whole website and found it most interesting. I was initially very reluctant to spend the $330 on the integration course. In fact, I said ‘no way was I going to spend that much money’. So I closed it up, went away and thought about it for a few days. One of the things that made me change my mind was something I read in the testimonials. That it had helped a lady immensely with her anxiety attacks. I also thought that if it was to help me with my health problems, then it’s worth its weight in gold.
2007 for me was extremely traumatic in many ways. In the beginning of the year, I suffered severe vertigo attacks (which were due to a virus), then I developed anxiety attacks because of the vertigo. I found this to be very debilitating and it stripped away all my confidence. At one stage, my specialist thought I had Meniere’s disease, but I refused to take that one on board. I was extremely anaemic, having had two iron infusions and with reactions to both the whole experience was exhausting to deal with. My marriage was also hitting the rocks and the stress related to the this caused my body to get really sick. It was time for me to take notice and do something to break out of this vicious cycle. I started three things that I feel helped me to overcome this cycle - painting classes, reading and meditation.
I now love using the Peace at Work integration course. Initially I found that 5 mins was just not long enough and although I wanted to do more, more quickly, you advised me to go by the book. I meditated most days but I found I wasn’t doing it at the same time, nor at the same place which I know isn’t the best thing. I figured if I was stressed out because I wasn’t doing it 100% by the book, then I would give up and that would be worse. With a toddler things would often not work out the way I wanted and often, I would have my toddler sitting on my lap looking in the mirror with me. I followed the course for about 4-5 weeks and somehow soon after I lost my routine and missed it very much. Now, I have started doing 15 minute sessions again. I got worked up a bit over not being able to fit a 20 min session in daily and decided if 15 mins is all I can do, then I should just go with that. As you can see it has been very much a learning curve trying to make the meditation work for me and my lifestyle, so that I can continue this for the rest of my life.
The result for me has been that my anxiety attacks are almost gone and that in itself is fantastic! Peace at Work has given me my life back. I can’t say that all my stress is gone, as some stress is good for you, but I don’t seem to get so worked up by it, and if I do, it’s for a shorter duration. All good! As for my marriage, we are still together and the future looks much better. Through reading again and taking my mind off the problems in my life and focusing on something else and through meditating and calming down from within, it has helped me immensely. I don’t bring up the subject of meditation, but if a conversation leads to something relating to stress and illness, I talk about Peace at Work and that it really works!

Peace at Work is just that, a workable technique to help bring more peace to your mind, and your life. It's simple. Its easy. And it works!

To be honest, I was very skeptical about doing this. It felt really weird to look at myself in the mirror and I didn't really understand how this could help me. So I put it off for ages and then I just said "what have I got to lose" and started. What a difference it has made in my life! I feel more relaxed; I appreciate life more and by being relaxed, life is a whole lot easier. Your support and encouragement through the 28-days and after has been great - thank you so much.

I had been suffering from anxiety for about a year. I had tried many other forms of meditation and even though they did help to some degree, the immediate and thorough results I get from Peace at Work are much more effective. The simplicity of the technique allows me to get into the "zone" so quickly. It has been so good that another friend who is also practicing and I have formed a weekly meditation group. Working in a group is so powerful. Peace at Work is working so well for me. Thank you for your on-going support.

I have what is known in the eastern world as a Monkey Mind and have tried a lot of techniques none of which worked, so I went into the Peace at Work program with some apprehension.'After one session, I felt as if a weight had been lifted off of my body and my mind had a lot more clarity. The following weeks saw my whole attitude and approach to dealing with everyday matters turn from confused and sometimes negative to completely clear thoughts and a positive outlook. Peace at Work works brilliantly!

In the past, I found myself bored and fidgety with other meditations undertaken at various classes/retreats. However, as I'm usually game to try new things, I went along to a Peace at Work session and enjoyed learning about, and experiencing the Peace at Work technique. My main concern was whether I'd get into it on my own at home just staring into a mirror; the idea didn't appeal at all in the beginning.
I am committed anyway and it turned out to be very rewarding. I couldn't wait to get home from work to do it every night, and it was my priority whilst I followed the integration course workbook. I totally got into it; I felt frustrated that I couldn't spend more time with it in fact, as I found it a compelling way to spend my free time. It is one of the healthiest, most interesting ways I've come across to detox from a day in the office. I feel very zen afterwards.

I have done many other forms of meditation and found the Peace at Work technique very effective particularly when I am in busy Sydney mode. I notice the difference when I forget to practice - it makes a difference even if I only do 5-minutes.

My name is Doris Nickolas and I am 40 years old. I am married and have four beautiful children aged 6, 13, 15, 18, so you can appreciate life can get a bit overwhelming sometimes especially with 3 teenagers.'When I was introduced to Peace at Work it couldn't have come at a better time. I have been suffering from anxiety attacks and its not a nice thing to experience because it makes you feel helpless, sad and totally out of control. Ever since I started practicing as a daily routine, I have felt I am in control and truly believe it has helped me immensely in understanding my inner-self and what's really going on. Anxiety can take over your life if you let it, but I know now that it is me who is in control of my body and thoughts and that has come from practicing Peace at Work. I know I still have a little way to go, but I also know that anxiety for me will be a thing of the past. I don't know where I would be right now if Peace at Work was not part of my life. I have a totally positive outlook in life thanks to this and instill this energy into my family. Peace at Work has made a huge difference in my life. Thank you.

I was introduced to the Peace at Work technique in 2004. I have been meditating since then, however not regularly enough to achieve a routine, letting the everyday pressures of running a business and family life get in the way. During this time I introduced my 8 year old daughter to Peace at Work and I noticed that she experienced the same release of tension in her body as I did. Children experience the same emotions and stress that we do and to be able to show her a way of letting that tension go is a great gift.
Then came something I was not planning on. I was diagnosed with high-grade aggressive breast cancer in November 2006. I knew that now more than ever I needed to achieve inner peace to get me through what was to come. On the day of my diagnosis, and even though I was in shock with the news, I began intensive meditation sessions using the Peace at Work technique and continued these up until my operation and beyond.
In those first weeks the level of tension being released continually in every session was intense. My daughter joined in some of the sessions and this experience enabled her to be part of my healing. During my progress I have taught the Peace at Work technique to some of my friends and carers. From my perspective this has been essential to keep the energy around me at a gentle healing level and it has the added benefit of introducing my loved ones to meditation.
Looking back now, I can see that my focus on meditation has given me absolute inner peace. No fear, no panic, just calm and focused. In fact everyone I meet, every day, can't help but comment on the inner peace and calm that they see in me.
My journey through the operation, chemotherapy and radiation continues, yet somewhere between Chemo session 1 and 2 a quiet knowing came to me that there were no more cancer cells left in my body. I continue to meditate and to share this experience with my daughter who is now 10 years old. In fact I would like to share with you something of her experience. One day she said to me "Mummy, I feel soooo good after meditation that I have to jump up and down for ages! I just feel so happy. What do people do if they don't know how to meditate?" Wow, if only we could learn from and be inspired by our children!

The Peace at Work technique has given me a sense of calm and focus the aura of which is obvious to all those around me after just 20 minutes of meditation.
The attraction is in the purity and the lack of spiritualism with this form of meditation. After just a short session I feel more empowered to tackle the deadlines and pressures of the day ahead. Even on days when I don't feel stressed or that it is necessary, the added focus it brings is extraordinary.

I was introduced to the Peace at Work technique by attending a 2-hour workshop. There were 6 people in the room 3 of which were already practitioners of the Peace at Work routine. The energy in the room was fantastic and my first meditation was extremely powerful. At the end of the night I walked away with my newly purchased Peace at Work compendium and looking forward to establishing a new routine.
For the next four days as the compendium sat gathering dust and despite my good intentions my daily routine took precedence over my desire to start meditating. I couldn't decide if morning or afternoon would be better, or where in my tiny apartment would be the best place to sit (because it said in the book that it was best to choose the same time and place everyday). I was procrastinating.
Finally one week after the seminar I sat down for my first orientation session. I can't tell you how disappointed I felt when the strong feelings of the week before were simply NOT there, I desperately wanted to feel the tightness in my throat or the tingling in my eyebrow but it just wasn't there. 3 days later, I tried again and two days after that I tried again, but my disappointment finally outweighed my desire to persevere.
For the next two weeks the compendium went back to gathering dust and I went back to my daily routine, feeling a twinge of guilt every time I passed my newly acquired "ornament". The problem was I already knew how good it could feel to meditate and I felt like I had failed.
Not wanting to give up that easily I started again determined this time to get past the orientation sessions and into establishing a routine irrespective of how I felt. On my third orientation session I started to feel the beginnings of tension and "release" which encouraged me to continue. The next great shock was trying to establish a routine, the 5 minute session seemed so short after the orientation - no sooner had I settled into the session when the session was over. Then something happened - on day 5 of the 5 minute routine, I found that I was getting into "the zone" much more quickly and as the time increased from 5 minutes to 10 minutes and from 10 to 15 minutes, the power of meditation that I had felt during the first seminar was suddenly there and this time I knew it was there to stay, why? Because it was of my own making.
I honestly expected this meditation thing to be easy, I thought it would "just happen" - I was wrong and now, I am glad that I was wrong because I now feel a sense of achievement and a sense of peace with myself and the universe. So my message to you if you are starting out with the Peace at Work routine is "It's OK" you are where you are meant to be, just persevere - it will be well worth the effort.

In 2002 I was approaching my 35th birthday and in the midst of preparing to leave my life partner of 10 years when I had'an epiphany: maybe I have the life I deserve, maybe I'm responsible for my own happiness, maybe I need to be honest with myself.'Next thing I know I'm having a ‘radical honesty' session with myself, my life partner and my family (siblings/parents) and I stay in the relationship. Within days I receive an email from a fellow FAST COMPANY - Company of Friends member who wrote:'Dear steering committee I have just met a man through my father. He has made a huge impact on my life. I thought he would be good as a facilitator of one of our monthly meetings. His web address is peaceatwork.com. I'll leave it to the steering committee. Kevin Garbor.
So we check out the site, meet with Stuart and learn to meditate. A non-philosophy, non-doctrine, non-personality stress release technique that was tangible, simple and totally appealed to the practical, country girl that I am. When it comes to stress, common sense says - better out than in!'And it has changed my life - but only completely!'Within 3 weeks I started sleeping, within 3 months I no longer had irritable bowel syndrome - something I'd learnt to live with and navigate over the previous 4 years since starting my own business. The next thing I noticed was that I was ‘helicoptering' life. I realised that up to 80% of the things that come into my life I didn't have to interact with, just observe them and let them move through. The other 20% that I was meant to interact with - I did so more effectively, efficiently and without excessive emotion - I guess that's called clarity.
In 2004 my life partner fell into a black depression, which we have just recently come out of. I am grateful that I was 18 months into my stress release routine when this experience came into our lives. As a carer, it gave me strength and capacity to handle the situation in ways that surprised me. While it has been very difficult at times, it has also been one of the most expanding experiences of my life and our relationship has changed for the better in the past three years.'Besides releasing stress from my body daily, through the peace at work technique I have discovered why we are called human beings, not human doings: the more I be the more easily I do the less stress I generate the happier I am the less fear I embrace the greater capacity I have and the more joy I experience.'Over nearly 5 years my meditation practice has increased organically. 5 minutes wasn't enough, then 10 minutes went too quickly and the changes that happened with 15 minutes made me think - imagine what will happen if you commit to 20 minutes a day! I now choose to sit for one hour every morning except on Saturday morning - just recently I have increased this to 2 hours. I know many of you may say - I just couldn't find this time in my day. Once you've completed the 4 week program (which is critical in assisting you to set up a routine) give yourself the gift of 5 minutes a day and I promise the increase happens organically and is an individual thing because it will relate to the experience you have. Also, as change occurs in you, everyone around you will experience the difference and those who love you will support you taking this time for yourself. On a practical level the gradual increase will make you ‘match fit'. I've always been a Gandhi fan. One of his sayings is "my goodness I have a busy day today, I'd better meditate for two hours, not one" Now I get this! There is much more I could share with you but I'd rather you experience it yourself. I hope this encourages you to ‘be'.

At the time of being introduced to Peace at Work my life was at full stress levels. I was starting a new business venture and going out on a limb, my personal life was going through major change and upheaval and my mum was going through breast cancer.
I also do a reasonable amount of volunteer work as well, and find that I need to look after myself, so that I can care to the best of my ability.
The Peace at Work technique made all these twists and turns much more bearable and gave me new insight and strength to move me through those times.
What I particularly liked with the Peace at Work technique was that there are no dogma's or doctrines that the technique are trying to impart.
What I experience is what I'm ready to experience and at the speed that I'm ready to go.
It has so many positive flow on effects, firstly for me and then everyone that I come in contact with include the people that I care for on a voluntary basis.
It's a truly lovely, rewarding, personal experience, unique and easily available to everyone.
